Tignanello grappa is obtained by distilling the pomace of Sangiovese and Cabernet, grapes harvested in the Tignanello vineyard, located on the Tignanello estate in the heart of the Chianti Classico region.
The fermented marc is transferred to the distillery immediately after emptying the fermentation tanks (peeling) and pressing them. This procedure ensures that the distillation is carried out using only the best marc, rich in alcohol and especially in aromatic substances.
Among the batches of grappa resulting from the distillation of the different batches of marc, only the best, the finest and the most aromatic are then assembled and bottled. Grappa Tignanello is available in limited quantities.
