The color is golden with amber highlights. Sangue d'Oro is luminous with a consistency close to honey.
On the nose, we perceive notes of apricot and dried fig, then honey in the aftertaste.
On the palate it is velvety, aromatic and persistent, the taste of dried fig and apricot is confirmed.
Beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness, the harmony is perfect.
Feeling of enveloping warmth, tactile sensation reminiscent of velvet and silk.
This sweet nectar with a golden color is distinguished and refined, with incredible persistence.
Winemaking
Pruned in goblet form, the vines are grown on terraces on different levels surrounded by stone walls.
Part of the grapes (40%) dries in the sun for 3 to 4 weeks in special dryers, among black lava stone walls.
The remaining part of the grapes ripens on the vine and is harvested when it has reached a good sugar concentration.
The grapes harvested in September ferment in stainless steel vats.
The grapes dried in the dryers are destemmed and added to the wine, produced from the fermentation of fresh and raisined grapes, for maceration for a few months until the right balance between alcohol and residual sugar is achieved.
Meditation wine.
